The movie was lots of fun. The motion capture looks great (and this is from someone who's never warmed up to stuff like The Polar Express), and the action sequences and stunts are both outrageous and believable. I've read some Tintin before, and the characters seemed to be all treated well. Captain Haddock is the stand-out character, and in many ways the movie is about him, as he's the one who grows and changes. He also gets to have a sword fight with container cranes, which is pretty cool!
