My bony pony

My 31 or 32-year-old horse Jack died yesterday.  That's pretty old for a horse, and I hadn't ridden him in years because he was so old, but he was my own horse and I'd owned him since he was born and I miss him...

He doesn't look too bad in this picture (just needs some burrs brushed out, which is why I caught him)...

...but here you can see how old and skinny he was.  And how short too, but he's always been short -- he was half Welsh pony.
