Arielcon Pacifica 2005 -- Day 3

Day Three is just meeting at noon for pictures and prizes, so we slept in, went to Denny's for breakfast, went into DCA to ride Sorin', and them met with everyone else at the Picnic Pavilion right outside Disneyland...

Looking at the pictures everybody took Friday.  They split into teams and did a scavenger hunt for the number 50 around Disneyland...

Philo judging the cartoons everyone made for the zoetropes yesterday

I was one of the three winners for my animation strip!  I won this poster for the christmas princess DVD, which Philo drew/painted -- but if the DVD sucks, Philo wants everyone to know he has nothing to do with the contents!

This is Anita, the organizer of Arielcon, and her husband Gary.  We gave them some jeweled pins of Flounder & Sebastian

Arielcon was over, so Beth and I went into Disneyland and saw the parade.  Here's Ariel's float...

...and here's Ariel hersef!

Watch out Ariel, here comes Ursula!

After the parade, we checked out Fantasyland to see the golden vehicles, then tried to ride the Matterhorn but it was temporarily closed.  Couldn't visit Ariel in her grotto either, because she wasn't there -- so I didn't get a picture with Ariel this trip.  We shopped a little, and went to the airport.  It was a great weekend!

Lol, looks like fun, and looks like Ariel was having too much fun and was about to fall off her shell!

Yes, but look closer at her hip. She seems to be firmly attached! (I didn't notice this until you posted...)

My cartoon was a simple cube morphing into a ball, then bouncing. Philo liked it because it reminded him of the experimental stuff they would make you do in animation school...
