New Comics Wednesday

Countdown #27 -- Finally, something happens!  There's a twist ending that I believe is a way-overdue kick in the pants.  So what do they do?  The put said twist ending right on the cover, so there is no surprise at all!  Dumb-asses...

Madame Mirage #3  -- When I reviewed the last issue, I said this comic has way too many secrets and it better start explaining things soon.  So, in this issue they explain things.  That's good pacing!

Sinbad: Rogue of Mars #1 -- This is one of a group of comics based on concepts by Ray Harryhausen.  The concept here is "Harryhausen's Sinbad is transported to a John Carter-like Mars."  Solid enough, but nothing special.  The art is good, but it seems to be reproduced way darker then intended...
