New Comics Wednesday (continued...)

Sorry for no entry yesterday -- I was babysitting (and watching Aquamarine).

Today I picked up these additional new comics:

The Last Christmas
#5 --  Well, it's over.  I bought it because I collect Christmas covers, but I have to say I can't recommend this one.  I see what they were trying to do, pitting Santa against zombies in a post-apocalyptic world, but they never made it as funny as it should be.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch #80 -- This isssue follows up on the plot thread of Sabrina being able to do all sorts of magical tricks that she really shouldn't be able to do.  Sabrina hasn't really noticed that she's special, but the Magic Council has, and this issue they make their move.  The only thing that worries me is that by making Sabrina too powerful, she may come down with Harry Potter disease  -- being the hero simply because she is the strongest and has the force of destiny behind her, not because she's smart or brave.  But I don't think that's where this storyline is going...
